The First International Conference on Continuing Education in Philological and Related Studies in the English Language invites academics, researchers, educators, and postgraduate students to come together to explore English philology in all its dimensions. This event will be held entirely online and aims to foster dialogue and intellectual exchange on the dynamic linguistic, literary, and cultural landscapes of the English language. The conference, covering a wide range of academic perspectives, will highlight recent developments and debates in fields such as theatre, language studies, literature, cultural studies, translation studies, and other related disciplines.

This gathering offers an invaluable opportunity to engage with both leading and emerging voices in philological studies and to participate in panels that delve into the intersections between English and its diverse cultural, historical, and social contexts. We especially welcome contributions from postgraduate students, recognizing the fresh perspectives and innovative research they bring to the field.

Highlights include:
- Literature Symposium: In-depth explorations of classical and contemporary works, with discussions on authorship, genre evolution, and thematic resonance.
- Theatre Studies: an integral and contemporary approach to theatre, exploring its history, theory, and connections to society, space, and gender. It analyzes performance practices, applied technologies, and its dialogue with other artistic disciplines.
- Linguistic Studies: Sessions on historical and modern linguistics, dialectal variation, and emerging digital influences that shape the use and understanding of English.
- Cultural Studies: Investigations into how English interacts with, influences, and is transformed by diverse cultures around the world.
- Translation Studies: A focus on the art and science of translation, addressing challenges, methodologies, and the role of English as a bridge between cultures.

This conference presents a unique opportunity to broaden your knowledge, network with experts, and contribute to innovative debates about the past, present, and future of English studies. We warmly welcome presentations from postgraduate students, encouraging new perspectives and emerging voices in the field.

Participation in the conference will be virtual and available asynchronously. Proposals may be submitted in English, Spanish, German, or Italian (only one language per proposal), aligned with the topics developed in each of the conference symposia. All communication proposals will undergo a peer-review process. Papers presented at the conference that are submitted on time and comply with the required format and guidelines may be published (if the authors wish) as a book chapter in a monograph published by Dykinson or Egregius (chosen by the author for each chapter), both prestigious publishers listed in the SPI Index (ranked 3rd and 76th, respectively, in the General SPI Index).

Optionally, authors may choose to publish one of the chapters with the Tirant lo Blanch publishing house (1st place in the SPI Index).
