Building on the tradition of the “Interpreting for Relevance” conference series organized by the University of Warsaw from 2002 to 2014, this new edition aims to provide a platform for presenting and discussing current research applying Relevance Theory to a wide range of communicative phenomena, in both face-to-face and online contexts.
We are honored to announce that the plenary speakers will be Prof. Louis de Saussure (Université de Neuchâtel) and Prof. Francisco Yus (Universidad de Alicante).
Conference Topics:
We welcome both theoretical and empirical papers – presenting completed studies or work in progress – revolving around the Relevance-Theoretic approach to cognition and communication. Interdisciplinary submissions combining Relevance Theory with other theoretical frameworks are also encouraged.

Please submit original abstracts (250–300 words), fully anonymized for peer review, to [email protected] by 15 October 2025.
