Issue: The Logical Linguistic Legacy of Montague Grammar

This is a call to contribute to the Special Issue of Philosophies (ISSN 2409-9287), entitled “The Logical Linguistic Legacy of Montague Grammar”
(https://www.mdpi.com/journal/philosophies/special_issues/5IX7RKLD70).
Both original research articles and critical surveys of the literature on a given issue are welcome for this Special Issue. The total length of submitted papers can be anywhere between 5,000 and 15,000 words, including notes and references. The journal uses endnotes only and the ACS citation style. As usual, submitted papers should not be considered for publication elsewhere.

The current deadline for manuscript submissions is 1 November 2025, but there could be an extension for you by several months. Early submissions are welcome as well. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal, with production and publication processes normally beginning immediately upon acceptance.

The article processing charge (APC) for open access publication in Philosophies is CHF 1400 (Swiss Francs). However, publication in this Special Issue will be waived for all authors, meaning you have the opportunity to publish your paper free of charge in this open access scholarly journal indexed by WoS and Scopus.

The journal Philosophies is fully open access. It is indexed by DOAJ, Scopus, Web of Science, CiteScore Q1, etc. Also, MDPI offers one of the best author experiences, with fast constructive peer review reports and fast high-quality in-house production.
