Call for Book Chapters

Title: Critical Perspectives on Inclusion in English as a Foreign or Second Language

Organizer: Antonio Henrique Coutelo de Moraes — [email protected]
To be published by the Federal University of Rondonópolis (UFR), Brazil

This e-book, to be published by the Federal University of Rondonópolis (UFR) in Brazil, aims to bring together critical reflections, research, and practical experiences that explore the teaching of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) or Second Language (ESL) for students with disabilities and learning difficulties. We invite scholars, teachers, and practitioners to contribute chapters that address theoretical frameworks, inclusive pedagogies, classroom strategies, policies, case studies, and innovative practices that advance access and equity in English language education.

Possible themes include, but are not limited to:

- Critical perspectives on inclusion and accessibility in EFL/ESL

- Teacher education for inclusive EFL/ESL classrooms

- Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in EFL/ESL

- Assistive technologies and inclusive language learning

- Neurodiversity and English language teaching

- Inclusive curriculum development for EFL/ESL

- Policies and rights related to language education for students with disabilities

- Experiences and narratives from learners and teachers

We strongly encourage submissions that challenge exclusionary practices, highlight local and global contexts, and share transformative possibilities for EFL/ESL education.

The main text starts on the third line below the abstract.
