Focus of the Conference:
This conference invites contributions that explore the communicative practices through which specialized knowledge is disseminated by experts in and across digitally-mediated contexts. Particular attention is given to proposals which examine the processes of recontextualization involved in adapting specialized knowledge so that it is accessible, understandable and acceptable to multiple audiences. Contributions may approach recontextualization and digital dissemination practices from different theoretical and methodological perspectives: corpus studies, genre analysis, pragmatic approaches, multimodality, ethnography, intercultural communication and contrastive approaches.

Submission Guidelines:
Abstracts must be submitted as MS Word documents using the template provided and should be 300-350 words long (references not included). Authors can only submit one proposal. The abstract should contain the following information:
- Theoretical framework
- Objectives
- Methodology
- Expected/obtained results
- References

Abstract proposals should be formatted as follows:
- Title, centred, bold, Times New Roman 14
- Surname, first name, affiliation, e-mail address, Times New Roman 12
- Main text, justified, Times New Roman 12
- Keywords (3-5), italics, Times New Roman 12
- References (max.5), Times New Roman 12, APA 7th Edition format
The document will be named after the author(s)’ surname(s).
Proposals will be sent to [email protected]. All proposals will be submitted to a double-blind review process. The allocated time for presentations will be 20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for discussion.

Conference Fees:
- Early bird (until January 31st, 2026): 175€
- Regular (from February 1st, 2026): 250€
- Student: 100€
The fees are for the full conference and include the coffee breaks, reception on Wednesday, lunch on Thursday, and conference dinner on Thursday. Instructions to pay the registration fee will be given upon notification of acceptance.
