Issue: Call for Special Issue Proposals: Volume 2 (2026)

We are delighted to announce that Applied Linguistics Compass is now open to Special Issue Proposals for any issue of Volume 2, to be published in 2026, within the broad area of Applied Linguistics.

Scholars and researchers interested in serving as Guest Editors are warmly invited to submit their proposals via email to: [email protected]

Proposals should be 500–800 words in length and clearly outline:
- The main objectives of the proposed special issue
- Its significance in advancing the field of applied linguistics
- How it contributes to the journal’s commitment to original and forward-thinking scholarship

All submissions will be reviewed and discussed by the Editorial Board, with evaluation based on novelty, academic relevance, and alignment with the thematic scope of Applied Linguistics Compass.
