Postdoc Opportunity in Linguistics & Computational Modeling (3 Years, DFG-Funded) at the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf.

Come work with me! I’m looking for a passionate and skilled Postdoctoral Researcher to join my DFG-funded project, “A Usage-Based Account of Noun-Verb Asymmetries.”

Project Focus:
We will investigate noun-verb asymmetries in Dutch, Kinyarwanda, and Maltese through computational modeling and psycholinguistic experiments.

What You’ll Do:
- Develop and apply computational models to study these asymmetries
- Design, conduct, and analyze psycholinguistic experiments
- Work with Julia, Python, R, and Praat

What I’m Looking For:
- Experience in computational modeling and psycholinguistic experiments
- Strong background in morphology, morphophonology (as shown by an excellent dissertation, or relevant peer-reviewed publications)
- Familiarity with the Discriminative Lexicon Model (a plus!)
- Expertise in one or more of the project’s languages (Dutch, Kinyarwanda, Maltese) (a plus!)
