The Opportunity:
The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Japanese Studies will make significant contributions to research, team teaching, curriculum development and community engagement.

The Lecturer/Senior Lecturer will develop course material, conduct tutorials, and deliver lectures and workshops. The role will supervise honours or postgraduate research projects and will supervise the program of study for students engaged in course work. This position will play a role in conducting and leading research projects and will undertake a range of administrative functions across the program.

The successful candidate will have a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline area or recognised significant experience in a relevant discipline area. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, native or near-native language competence, demonstrated publications in high-quality refereed journals, a strong record of teaching experience and a passion for engaging in scholarly activities.
