The 7th International Symposium on the History of English Lexicography and Lexicology (HEL-LEX 7)
“Contact and English Lexis and Dictionaries”
7-8 June 2023

We are just ONE week away from HEL-LEX 7 which is being hosted by the Jamaican Language Unit and the Richard and Jeannette Allsopp Centre for Caribbean Lexicography, which are research units of The University of the West Indies. The former is in Jamaica and the latter is in Barbados. The symposium will be held virtually as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath. Regardless, we are looking forward to having a great time sharing our love of language and dictionaries on the 7th and 8th of June.
