We are delighted to announce that the 1st FLEUR annual conference will take place on Friday 8th September 2023.
This first conference will be fully online, but we intend to meet in person in the future.
The conference is open to all teachers of French in Higher and Further Education in the UK: those who teach in a language department, a language centre, an Alliance française or an Institut français, and who have an interest in the scholarship of the teaching of the language.
The conference will be an opportunity for us to come together to share practice, pedagogies, research and reflections. It will also enable us to get to know one another, present our association and build our network together as well as kickstart various working groups and finalise the executive committee.
Attendance to the event will be free to FLEUR members. The cost for non-members will be £20.
