We are pleased to announce that the 32nd Conference of the Student Organisation of Linguistics in Europe (ConSOLE32) will be hosted by Queen Mary University of London from 17th to 19th January, 2024.
We invite abstracts for 20-minute talks and posters. We will be accepting work from any corner of the field of linguistics (including but not limited to syntax, semantics, phonology, morphology, pragmatics, psycholinguistics, etc.), but this year we will be particularly welcoming sociolinguistic research, or experimental and formal work with a social angle.
We have four keynote speakers who will deliver plenary talks on different linguistic topics:
- Bronwen Evans (University College London)
- Sophie Holmes-Elliott (Queen Mary University of London)
- Peter Svenonius (University of Tromsø - The Arctic University of Norway)
- Danfeng Wu (University of Oxford)
The extended submission deadline is 29th October, 2023 at 23:59 British Summer Time (GMT+1)
The notification of decisions will be sent out in late Novement/early December.
Reminder: Please check the UK Government website to see whether you need a visa to travel to the UK (https://www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa). If necessary, we suggest that you start preparing to apply for a visa as early as possible.
