Meeting Description:
The conference will be organized in November 15-17, 2023, in Tampere, Finland. It focuses on discourse and interaction research and invites contributions from different and diverse fields of inquiry including conversation analysis, discursive psychology, narrative analysis, applied linguistics, sociolinguistics, textual studies, gesture studies, rhetoric, political discourse analysis, multimodal interaction analysis, communication studies, organization studies, and more. The field of discourse and interaction research lends itself to interdisciplinary collaboration and exchange, as it explores the relations between text and talk on the one hand, and societal, cultural and psychological contexts on the other. An important aim of this conference is to gather researchers and doctoral students from different traditions in order to facilitate interdisciplinary discussion and collaboration.
Call for Papers:
We invite individual presentations and data analysis sessions. Abstracts should be up to 250 words. Indicate in the application form whether you submit an oral presentation (15–20 minutes) or a data session (90 minutes). All the abstracts should describe the data, analytic foci/method and results/planned activity, and include 2–5 keywords. A conference delegate is limited to have one paper as a first author.

The deadline for the submissions is the 31st of March 2023. Submit your proposal in .doc, .docx, .rtf or .odt format. Information about the acceptance of the abstracts will be given by the 1st of June 2023.
