The conference favours interdisciplinary explorations of linguistic, literary, pedagogical, cultural, political, ethical, ethnic, national, as well as other research contexts related to education. Particular emphasis will be placed on examining how the findings of one discipline may shed light on potentially neglected perspectives in another discipline.
ESIDRP 2025 is organised by the Department of English Language and Literature at Blaže Koneski Faculty of philology, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, North Macedonia. Note that all sessions will be held in person at the Faculty of Philology premises.

Posters are graphic displays (A0 standard, portrait, 84,1 cm x 118,9 cm) of an on-going or completed research. All posters are grouped in a single poster session, which is approximately 60 minutes. At the beginning of the session, each poster is presented to the attendees in five minutes by the author(s). The Q&A session is usually a lively discussion in front of the posters.
Workshop
Workshops are hands-on sessions where participants (up to 20) can develop or enhance new skills, work with peers and more experienced colleagues, and apply their knowledge in a practical environment. Workshops emphasize collaboration and typically focus on specific tools, techniques, or best practices. Guided group interaction is the key. Duration: 45 minutes.
Roundtable/Panel Discussion
Roundtables usually gather four to five speakers and a moderator to debate with the audience an important topic or question, one that is relevant for literacy, education, AI, and society in general. Each speaker can present their viewpoint in 10 minutes (no slides) followed by a discussion with the audience.
The abstract should reflect the purpose and the content of the presentation. Each person may submit no more than one abstract as the first author. The first author will have to register for the conference in order to be assured of a place on the programme. The abstracts will undergo an anonymous peer-review process.
