Meeting Description:

The next GSCP (Gruppo di Studio sulla Comunicazione Parlata) International Conference, "La Comunicazione Parlata / Spoken Communication, Foggia 2025", will be held in Foggia from 19 to 21 June 2025 and it will be hosted by the University of Foggia.

For this conference, acceptable themes regarding spoken communication include the following areas:

▪ pragmatic dimension
▪ sociolinguistic dimension
▪ acquisitional dimension
▪ educational dimension

▪ multimodal dimension
▪ signed communication
▪ expressing emotions
▪ speech-language pathologies
▪ ontogeny and phylogeny of language
▪ history of the studies on spoken communication
▪ tools and techniques

Abstract submission:

Scholars interested in presenting papers at the conference are invited to submit an abstract (approximately 600-1000 words) of their proposed presentation to [email protected].
The email should contain the following information: title of the paper, name and email of the author(s), the preferred kind of presentation (oral presentation or poster), key words, thematic areas (more than one listed above can be indicated).
Proposals will be anonymously submitted to the Scientific Committee, which will decide whether and in what form each contribution will be presented.

The deadline for abstract submission is 14th of March 2025.
